    About aiocalc.com

aiocalc.com is a free, all-in-one collection of calculators for construction, finance, health, math, and dates, plus everyday unit converters. Every tool is built to be fast, accurate, and usable without an account, a login, or a paywall.

We're not trying to out-breadth the big incumbents on day one — we're starting with a smaller set of calculators, built carefully, and expanding from there. Each calculator gets its own page with a clear explanation of the formula behind it, so you can see exactly how a result was reached instead of trusting a black box.

How we build & verify calculators

Every calculator starts from a published, standard formula for its domain rather than a guess at what "seems about right." A few examples: the Mifflin-St Jeor equation powers the BMR and Calories calculators, the U.S. Navy circumference method powers the Body Fat calculator, and the Age Calculator's retirement-age estimate uses the published U.S. Social Security full-retirement-age table by birth year. Construction calculators use standard volume and coverage formulas from the trades they serve.

Each calculator ships with an automated test suite covering its formula's known edge cases — rounding behavior, boundary values, negative or zero inputs — and results are cross-checked by hand against textbook or reference examples before the page goes live. When we find a bug (ours or one reported by a visitor), we fix it and add a test so it can't silently come back.

Our full process — sources, testing, how dates are updated, and a public log of every correction — is on the methodology page.

    What makes us different

    • One dedicated page per calculator — not a homepage widget. Each tool has its own URL, its own explanation of the math, and its own FAQ, so you can bookmark, share, or search for exactly the calculator you need.
    • Instant, client-side results — calculations run in your browser as you type, with no server round-trip and no loading spinner.
    • No account, no paywall — every result is free and available immediately.
    • Ad-light — we'd rather you get a fast, uncluttered answer than scroll past banners to find one.
    • Shareable results — most calculators can copy your inputs into a link, so you can share or bookmark a specific result instead of re-entering numbers.

    Frequently asked questions

Is aiocalc.com really free to use?

Yes. Every calculator is free, with no usage limits, no paywalled results, and no account required. The site is ad-light by design — we'd rather you get a fast, uncluttered answer than scroll past banners to find one.

Do I need to create an account or sign in?

No. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser — there's no sign-up, no sign-in, and no personal data required to get a result. We do use Google Analytics to understand traffic; if you're visiting from the EU, EEA, or UK you'll see a cookie banner and can opt out, everyone else gets it on by default. See our privacy policy for the full picture.

    How accurate are the calculators?

Each calculator is built from a published, standard formula for its domain — the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR and calorie needs, the U.S. Navy circumference method for body fat, the published U.S. Social Security full-retirement-age table for retirement estimates, and similar industry-standard formulas for construction and math calculators. Every calculator ships with an automated test suite covering its formula's known edge cases (rounding behavior, boundary values, negative or zero inputs), and results are spot-checked by hand against textbook or reference examples before the page goes live. That said, they're estimation tools, not professional advice — see our disclaimer for what that does and doesn't cover.

Why don't you have every calculator the big sites have?

We're deliberately not trying to out-breadth the incumbents on day one. Instead of a handful of generic homepage widgets, every calculator here gets its own dedicated page with a full explanation of the math behind it — built carefully, tested, and verified one at a time. The catalog keeps growing; browse by category below to see what's live right now.

What should I do if I find an incorrect result?

Tell us. Head to the contact page with the calculator name, the inputs you used, and what you expected instead — that's usually enough for us to reproduce and fix it. We'd rather know about a bug than have it stay wrong for the next person.

Are the health and pregnancy calculators safe to rely on?

They're built from established formulas and published references, but they are not medical advice and aren't a substitute for care from a doctor, midwife, or registered dietitian — especially the pregnancy and due-date tools, where results are statistical estimates, not diagnoses. Always confirm timing and any health concern with your care provider. See our disclaimer for the full picture.

Calculators are estimation tools for everyday decisions — see our disclaimer for what that does and doesn't cover. If something looks wrong, we want to know — head to the contact page and tell us.
